Scope and Contracting Parties

These terms apply to the use of Check Solar by end users who compare solar offers and submit inquiries through the website.

Service Description

Check Solar provides an online comparison service for solar offers. The service helps users review available solar options and submit inquiries to installers connected to selected offers.

Check Solar is free for end users. There are no hidden end-user fees for using the comparison or submitting an inquiry.

Check Solar facilitates comparison only. Check Solar is not an installer and is not a party to any contract concluded between a user and an installer.

Submitting an inquiry through Check Solar does not constitute a purchase or service contract. Any contract for solar products or installation services is concluded exclusively between the user and the respective installer. Since no contract is formed through Check Solar itself, no statutory right of withdrawal applies with respect to Check Solar.

Any withdrawal rights relating to contracts concluded between the user and an installer are governed exclusively by the installer's own terms and conditions and applicable law.

User Obligations

Users must provide accurate and complete information when using the comparison and checkout inquiry flow. This includes contact details and project information needed to prepare relevant solar offers.

Users must not misuse the website, submit false inquiries, interfere with technical systems, or use the service for unlawful purposes.

Offer Process and Data Sharing

Offers displayed through Check Solar are non-binding unless explicitly stated otherwise.

If you submit a checkout inquiry, your data is forwarded only to installers behind the offers selected in checkout. This includes recommended offers that remain selected and excludes offers you remove before submitting the inquiry.

Installers may contact you directly to clarify details, prepare an offer, or discuss a possible contract. Any contract for solar products or installation services is concluded directly between you and the installer.

No Guarantee and Limitation of Liability

Check Solar does not guarantee that a specific installer will make an offer, that an offer will remain available, or that a contract will be concluded.

Check Solar is not responsible for the content, accuracy, pricing, availability, or performance of installer offers, unless required by mandatory law.

Liability for slight negligence is limited to breaches of essential contractual obligations and to typical, foreseeable damage. These limitations do not apply to injury to life, body, or health, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or other liability that cannot be limited by law.

Intellectual Property

All website content, layouts, logos, texts, graphics, and software elements are protected by applicable intellectual property laws unless otherwise indicated.

Users may use the website only for its intended purpose. Copying, reproducing, or commercially exploiting website content without permission is not allowed unless permitted by law.

Final Provisions

If individual provisions of these terms are invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective.

German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the user's country of residence remain unaffected.
